# About This Book

*The Old West, An Exodus NDS Era Book, Wyoming and Colorado, 1869 to 1876. Source: https://oldwest.exodusnds.com/about*

Cheyenne and Denver, the Union Pacific and the Denver Pacific, the Lakota, Cheyenne and Arapaho country around them, and the years from 1869 to 1876. The book gives the history, the places and nations, the roles and rules, and a starter adventure with pregenerated characters. A table needs only the Exodus NDS Core Rules beside it; gear comes from the sourcebooks the book cites.

**Rules.** This book is a rules supplement for the *Exodus NDS Core Rules*, which are open under the ORC License. The supplement itself is not open: it is © 2026 Kaosweaver, Inc. Where it repeats a core rule, only the rule as written in the Core Rules is open.

The history this book draws on belongs to everyone. The text, maps and diagrams as drawn here, the cast of invented characters, tables, stat lines, and layout are © 2026 Kaosweaver, Inc. Gear statistics come from other Exodus sourcebooks; the book that owns a stat line governs it.

**Copyright.** The text, setting, names, characters, tables, stat blocks, layout, and trade dress of this book are © 2026 Kaosweaver, Inc., and so are its artwork and maps to the extent the law protects them. The claim covers how things are written and drawn. It does not claim ideas or methods of play. Nothing here limits a right the law gives you, such as quoting for a review.

**Trademarks.** *Exodus*, *Exodus NDS*, and the Kaosweaver, Inc. dragon logo are trademarks of Kaosweaver, Inc.

**Use at your table.** Print it, copy it, play from it, and share the unmodified book with friends. **Making something with it?** Just ask. To publish, sell, stream for money, translate, or build a supplement, adventure, video, or fan project on this book's setting, names, characters, or art, ask first at [exodusnds.com/license](https://exodusnds.com/license). Kaosweaver, Inc. is generous with permission and usually asks no fee. We do not allow wholesale copying or passing the work off as someone else's.

Real people and places. Real historical people, places, and institutions appear as part of the period. The player characters and non-player characters are invented, and the chapters that present them say so. Nothing is meant as a statement about any living person or any present-day group. Names, marks, and logos of real products and institutions belong to their owners, and no connection with or endorsement from any of them is claimed or implied.
